The M/S Mount Washington is an excursion ship sailing on Lake Winnipesaukee. They offer narrated scenic cruises and dinner dance cruises from early May through October but there is nothing quite like a foliage cruise at the height of the season. Those who have done it will tell you it is one of the most spectacular display of color in all of New England.

Lake winnipesaukee is the largest lake in NH spanning 72 miles at the longest stretch. It is spring fed and covers 44,000 acres of beautiful clean water, contains 274 habitable islands and has 282 miles of shoreline. The 3 mountain ranges that surround the lake: the Ossipee Mountains, Belknap Mountains and the Sandwich Range add a special touch to the stunning colors. Though we have not been lucky enough to wtness it ourselves, we’re told that on a clear day you can see the top of Mount Washington from the deck. Dinner or Day Cruises on Sunapee

The MV Kearsarge dinner ship has been sailing the waters of Lake Sunapee for over 30 years. The
boat operates seasonly from May to October. The boat departs Sunapee Harbor at 6:30 Tuesday-Sunday for scenic dinner cruises. Each cruise is narrated by the Captain, and lasts for two hours. They feature two decks of enclosed dining and an open air walkway around the top deck. A Roast Beef Buffet is served nightly and a full bar add the finishing touches.

For a Day Cruise and foliage watching hop aboard the MV Mt Sunapee II at Sunapee Harbor. Grab a deck chair and take in the incredible scenery as the Captain narrates the history, legends and lore of the lake. Cruises after Labor day are on weekends only until Columbus Day and depart daily at 2pm. MV Kearsarge and Sunapee II: 603-938-6465 • www.sunapeecruises.com
